The Mama Behind the Cakes
I have been baking from home since 2006; when my first child was born. After years of creating on and off for friends and family, being coined “The Cake Mama” and realizing my love for baking and designing cakes, I decided to officially launch on my 30th birthday to celebrate a new decade of possibilities.
Since The Cake Mama has been around, I have expanded my know-how to not only creating beautiful custom cakes for all occasions but to designing sugar cookies, macarons, cake pops, meringues and chocolate gems.
I am a firm believer that if you put your mind to something and work hard, you will see the fruits of that labor. I love to learn new techniques to keep myself on trend and I love being inspired by bakers all over the world.
In my personal life, I have a wonderful, loving and supporting husband who has been in my corner since the inception of my crazy love for baking. I am a mother to 3 lovely children (two girls and one boy) and I love watching each of them grow into amazing human beings.
In 2018, Izabela completely shifted her baking to focus on creating vegan desserts to align with her lifestyle and has plans to grow The Cake Mama into a space that is a resource for not only how to recreate her pretty desserts, but how to incorporate a plant based lifestyle with ease
